Conceptual Art Studies:

Design With a Purpose

Many of these artworks are the result of self-study with the aim of improving my particular skills, such as colour, perspective, gesture, and so on. This practice additionally serves to keep my skills refined between contracts.

These environmental pieces were crafted with everyday life in mind, from the industrial to the pastoral, but twisted into surrealist, almost nightmarish scenarios. This way, my audience can connect with the parts of the pieces that are more down-to-earth, but become unnerved by the unexpected elements that invade them.

Along with this, I also pursue work on creature and mechanical design, using naturalist muscle tone and structure in designs that are otherwise supernatural. Expect the unexpected!
